I would be foolish to think that predicting another top ranked team to lose and/or not cover on Saturday was a revelation that only I would be so bold to predict. Heck, that has been the norm, not the exception this season. Just look at the #2 ranked Ducks, or should I say the previously #2 ranked Ducks! However, before I went out on a limb to boldly predict yet another top team to struggle I first decided to see if there were any angles and/or trends that could support my supposition. My search certainly didn't disappoint, as I uncovered an absolute gem of an angle that just might put more money in my pocket. So let's take a look:

Situation: Rest, Home Cooking, and Revenge

Teams in general coming off a bye week tend to do well in their next game this late in the season and if you put them in a spot versus a team that had beaten them previously you end up with a profitable 353-294-7 (54%) since 1980. Not a huge profit maker but enough to take notice.

Now, let's take this same team who won previous to their by week and make it their final home game of the year versus a conference opponent while they are listed as an underdog. We really have something at this point since these teams are a bankroll padding 24-7 ATS.

Before we give up on this angle let's have this same team with the above situation playing an opponent who themselves won last week. Low and behold it's time to break the books back as this number balloons to 22-3 ATS.

What does all of this have to do with another Top Ranked teams' demise?

Hint:

The Tigers won't be growling on Saturday.
