From a handicapping perspective, one can scour the internet and find numerous expert opinions on today's games. Most focus on team matchups, trends and angles, and self proclaimed inside information. Although you can certainly read even my perspectives that utilize matchups, trends, and angles to produce winning selections, there are also seldom used statistics concerning coaches. College coaches, in general, have more of an impact on their teams performance than any NFL coach. That is why it's important to also include a coaches performance versus the number just as it is looking at all of the other statistical advantages. So, what does this all mean? Should you really factor in a coaches performance against the number just as you would any other information gathered. I am here to tell you that there is one coach on today's card that can't be ignored. This particular coach appears to have problems adjusting to teams who are off back to back wins as he is a bankroll breaking 5-14-2 ATS in his coaching career. Install this same coach as a favorite and playing a team off back to back wins and he is an even worse 0-7-2 ATS. So what coach should we look at today? The coach is Les Miles of the LSU Tigers. It might be a bit of a stretch taking Alabama today but also consider that Tide coach Nick Saban is 22-12 ATS mark when playing a home game against a team off a SU win. But, be cautious with this one, as the road team in this series is a money making 12-2-1 ATS. Today Michael has a huge card on tap that includes his Big-10 Blowout!
