Will the real Cincinnati Bengal team please stand up in Week 13 against the Pittsburgh Steelers? The Bengals who have yet to show anything close to their playoff form of years past came to life last week crushing the Tennessee Titans 35-6. In his previous game QB Carson Palmer three a career high four interceptions but came back in big fashion against the Titans completing a highly efficient 32 of 38 for 283 yards and three touchdowns. WR Chad Johnson who has been basically a non factor recently also came back to life with 12 receptions for 103 yards while catching all three TD’s from Palmer. RB Rudi Johnson also had a good game with 25 rushes for 88 yards. Apparently the public doesn’t think that Cincinnati is back as they are listed as a solid -7 point underdog. In what could be characterized as one of the most boring games in NFL history the Pittsburgh escaped a rain drenched field beating the winless Miami Dolphins 3-0 on a game ending field goal. It was the lowest scoring game in 14 years. The field conditions created the absence of offense as the Steelers had only 216 yards of total offense while the Dolphins had an even worse 159. The Steelers did manage to get decent production out of RB Willie Parker as he rushed for 81 yards on 24 carries. The road team has dominated this series recently as they are 7-0 both SU & ATS the L7 meetings plus, they 17-7 ATS their L24 on the road. The Steelers however are 24-10 in December home games but only 3-5 ATS in L8 as a divisional host. Cincinnati has certainly been inconsistent this season but for the first time this season they have put together back-to-back good offensive games. They could very well be the best 4-7 team in the league. There are a number of games in this weeks action that present some good profit opportunities.
