It's week #8 in College Football and an argument can be made to expect the unexpected, especially when it comes to the Top 10 rankings anyway. However, as with a normal season there are still a number of teams who you can count on to continue their losing ways. Especially if they are coming into week 8 of the season with no real hopes of getting any of the numerous bowl bids come the end of the regular season. For the most part, it's play out the season and let's move on. In keeping with our search for profits let's roll up our sleeves and take a look to see if whether or not our nemesis, the lines makers, adjust or if there are opportunities where we can profit from these perennial losers. Scenario #1
As one might think, these teams are just dead losers producing a bankroll draining 59-109-5 ATS mark since 1980. How are these teams this week?.....Duke, Florida International and SMU.
Scenario #2 Take these teams and put them against a home team who is coming off a loss both SU and ATS and these losers produce a horrible 17-44-1 ATS mark.
Scenario #3 Now, if theses teams happen to be a double digit road underdog in the scenarios above they are an awful 8-29-1 ATS.
Scenario #4 Combine all of this with teams whose defense is about as staunch as a piece of paper, allowing at least 31 points per game, and you have the ultimate "go against" profit opportunity that is 3-16-1 ATS.
This week's GO AGAINST plays: Duke and SMU.
