After losing two in a row the ninth-ranked Florida Gators came back in a big way beating Kentucky 45-37 as QB Tim Tebow threw for four touchdowns and rushed for another. The win kept the Gators in the hunt in the SEC East putting them in a tie for first with both Georgia and South Carolina. The Gators coe into this one owning the Georgia Bulldogs as they have won 8 of the last 9 times they have met and are 15-2 since 1990.
After getting blown out by Tennessee the Georgia Bulldogs bounced back as they snuck by Vanderbilt in Nashville two weeks ago, 20-17. The win gave them an identical 5-2 mark as Florida, keeping them in a tie for first. The Gators may not be quite as explosive offensively as Florida but the bye week added offensive line depth that will create help RB Moreno.
SUPPORTING ANGLES: GEORGIA is 49-29 ATS (+17.1 Units) in road games after the first month of the season since 1992. GEORGIA is 42-24 ATS (+15.6 Units) in road games when playing against a team with a winning record since 1992.
Georgia is 6-0-1 ATS as a road/neutral underdog winning five of those games outright. In addition Florida is a horrible 4-15-1 ATS as a road favorite.
My Opinion: This one is going to be decided by 4 points or less so take Georgia plus the points.
