NCAAB Tournament Champion -- Does History Point to the Winner?

It's a tough road to the Final Four of the NCAAB Tournament Picks and as history has shown there is a big difference between getting to that point in the tournament and winning it all. Through all of the data and information that is out there does historical data and trends tell us anything about who will be crowned this years NCAAB Tournament Picks Champion? Well, let's take a look at the what at least 9 of the last 11 champions had in common:

The Champion had a winning percentage of 81.8% of better

The Champion finished the season with an ATS record of 55.3% or higher.

Played a schedule ranked in the Top 15 Nationally.

Scored at least 78 points per game and ranked in the Top 25 in points scored.

Game up 70 points per game or less, ranking in the Top 170 in scoring defense. The best in this group gave up less than 64 and ranked in the top 60.

Outscored opponents by at least 14 points per game that ranked them in the top 5 in the country.

Shot at least 47.5% from the field and ranked in the Top 25 in the country in Field Goal percentage.

Made at least 36.7% of their 3 point attempts on the season that ranked them in the top 70 nationally.

Outrebounded opponents by at least 3.5 rebounds per game and ranked in the top 64 in the country. The best 50% in this category outrebounded opponents by 7.5 and ranked in the top 8.

Allowed opponents 40% or less on field goal attempts, ranking in the top 20 in the country.
