Who would have thought that three games into the College Football season that both Notre Dame and Michigan would be winless going into this game. Well, for the first time ever, it has happened and if they weren't playing each other today I am not so sure that both wouldn't be 0-3 after this week. Michigan after being ranked #5 to start the season has really been the biggest surprise falling twice at home, once to Division I-AA Apalacian State and the other a lopsided loss to Oregon. Notre Dame on the other hand came into this season with the experts not having much hope for their season recognizing that they will be in a rebuilding year. With the loss of Brady Quinn to the NFL their offense has really been a problem amassing only 141 total yards per game while not scoring a touchdown this season. Their Defense played a decent game versus Penn State last week but has given up an average of 340 yards of offense and 32 points per game. The Michigan offense has been able to move the ball averaging 422 yards of total offense but struggled to put the ball in the end zone last week putting up only 7 points. In addition, Michigan has lost starting QB Chad Henne who is out indefinitely. This game is a good one to watch for curiousity sake but won that I would recommend not to play. But if you must, keep in mind that the underdog has dominated this series, going 8-3 SU & 10-1 ATS. My Opinion Take Notre Dame and the points as they keep this one close.
