The San Diego Chargers and LaDainian Tomlinson look for payback tonight when they visit Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots after being upset by the Patriots in the AFC Divisional playoffs last year. In that game Tomlinson rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns and caught two passes for 64 yards. With all of Tomlinson's success, QB Phillip Rivers was just the opposite completing only 14-of-32 passes for 230 yards with an interception.

In the first game of the season last week Tomlinson was contained by a a good Chicago Bears defense, rushing for just 25 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. TE Gates finished the game with nine receptions for 107 yards.

New England came out of the blocks last week showing their newly acquired offensive power as they rolled to a 38-14 victory over the New York Jets. Randy Moss looked like the top receiver of old catching nine passes for 183 yards and a touchdown. Brady, who wasn't hurried at all, took apart the Jets completing 22-of-28 passes for 297 yards and three touchdowns.

Stats to Consider: the underdog in this series is on a nice 6-1 ATS run. The Patriots were just 3-6 ATS at home in ’06 but are 6-1 SU & ATS in its L7 overall. San Diego, and underdog tonight, has been incredible on the road in this role, going 9-1-1 ATS in its L11.

Both teams came into the season as the favorites to get to the Super Bowl and last weeks' results did nothing to change that thinking. Michael has been studying this matchup and has the GUARANTEED Winner all lined up tonight that is backed by a solid 21-7 ATS mark since 1992. Join Michael as www.alexandersports.com
