Although there is more to handicapping than going by straight trends and angles as teams in the College ranks changes from year to year can through historical performances right out the window. Look at the recent performance of the Floriday Seminoles who dominated for so long creating trends that if followed recently would have put us in the poor house. However, they are important to consider as the recommendations listed in the pages last week won 3 of 4. Don't get suckered into blindly following the trends but they do point us into some interesting directions this week. Below are some of the trends and recommendations for this week.

Cincinnati at Oklahoma

Cincinnati is 2-6 before a home game versus Miami Ohio and 3-7 as dogs off a double digit SU unlined win. While DD SU unlined win Oklahoma is 4-1 in the 2nd of back to back home games and 6-2 as double digit favorites in Game Two of the season. Recommendation: Oklahoma

BYU at Washington

BYU is 5-1 away before back to back home games and 7-3 in game two of the season while Washington is 1-4 after Oregon, 1-3 versus the MWC and 3-7 at home versus a non conference opponent. Recommendation: BYU

South Florida at Central Florida

South Florida is 3-0 L3 in his series and 4-0 versus a non conference opponent with revenge while Central Florida is 1-5 at home with non conference revenge and 2-6 in the 2nd of back to back home games. Recommendation: South Florida.
