As the season winds down in most major sports there are teams who are in the hunt for post season appearances and there are teams who just wish that the season would come to an end. While fans of these teams hope that they will continue to play until the final whistle blows the more than likely scenerio is that their team will just be waiting for the season to end. However, before we discount the games with these teams involved it's important to note how they do against the number. After all, it really doesn't matter to the bettor what the team thinks, it's whether or not there is sufficient opportunity to profit from their season. So, it's with that premise that I look at today's card to see if we can jump on a game involving teams who just hope to get the season over with. Since a lot of today's card involves Conference foes let's take a look at teams who hope to get out of the season alive have a defense that gives up a large 28 points per game on defense and unbelievably are listed as a home favorite today. Low and behold we have something here as these teams are a horrible 26-25 ATS. Now let's take this "season over with" team and have them give up at least 35 points in their last game. Now we're cooking as these teams are 10-32 ATS. Looking at one more angle to the above, let's have them playing a team that has won at least 33% of their games this season. Now it's time to fade these teams big time as they are a bankroll draining 1-17 ATS. These teams already have taken home the green as Mississippi State was a "go against" situation team yesterday.
