The #1 USC Trogans have certainly come out of the blocks in grand fashion leaving little doubt, at least in my mind, that they deserve the Top Spot in the polls. Two weeks agao RB Johnson rand for 144 yards and a touchdown in their pasting of Nebraska and they last week opened up PAC-10 play by dominating Washington State 47-14. The win last week was USC's 35th in a row at home.
Washinton comes into this one off a two game losing streak that put them at 2-2 SU and 0-1 ATS. Last week they opened up their PAC-10 season by losing to UCLA 44-31 as their defense gave up 333 yards on the ground and 204 in the air. However, in last weeks game QB Jake Locker threw for 4 touchdowns but did get picked off twice.
Last season the Huskies gave the mighty Trogans a tough go of it losing 26-20. Washington is 2-0 ATS their L2 versus USC while the underdog is a profitable 5-2 ATS the L7. The Trojans are just 2-6 ATS in their L 8 conference road games over the last 2 seasons. In addition USC is just 1-10 ATS in Game #4 of the season over the L11 years. Opinion: Lot's of trends points to a cover in this one. Take the points and the Washington Huskies.
