Again, we have two mediocre starts with below average bullpens. Happ like Norris has had flashes of brilliance lately but still can be hit hard, and is overdue for a sub-standard performance. Arizona start Lopez has been awful lately. D'backs scoring 6+ rpg their L9 games overall. Houston scored 6 Lnight; 4 vs. Arizona's current best reliever Heilman. Teams' are Over the total 14 of L20 meetings in Chase Field. Let's give it another shot.

Will back home field energy this afternoon, as the Wolverines open up the new "Big House" in Ann Arbor. Rodriquez is very familiar with Connecticut from his West Virginia days (4-0 SU & ATS). He is in his 3rd year of implementing new schemes, has more playmakers on offense and special teams, which IMO should make the difference in the game. Michigan have a deep and talented offense line, with two playmaking QB's in Forcier & Denard Robinson (10.28 in 100m?). Both should play, but Robinson is more suited for Rodriquez's offensive style. UConn, in my opinion, play in a weaker conference, still have defensive issues, and haven't established a consistent passing game in years. Sr. QB Zach Frazer has talent. However, injuries have prevented him from establishing a consistent presence behind center. Plus, his supporting cast is questionable. No doubt, Michigan have D issues as well, especially in the secondary. Nontheless, this game should come down to big plays, and believe Michigan have more playmakers, and will be highly motivated in their home opener. Almost a must win for Rodriquez.

Playing against two mediocre starts and below average bullpens. Saunders can be hit hard on any given night. Houston start Norris, has pitched well lately, but not vs. the likes of Arizona's type of offensive talent. Norris, 6 innings, 12 runs allowed in two stars vs. D'backs last season. Arizona averaging 6.75 rpg their L8 games. Teams' are Over the number 13 of L19 meetings in Chase Field.

Yankee Stadium should be a launching pad this afternoon, with the wind blowing out 22+mph throughout the game. Not to mention, both starts have struggled lately. Rzepczynski, 15 hits, 10 runs allowed his L2 starts vs. Yanks, in only 6.1 innings of work. New York lead the league in scoring; Toronto #11 and #1 in league in homeruns. Yankees Over the total, 8 of L11 at home.

Bonderman has a nice arm, and is coming off a nice start vs. KC his last outing. Royals start Greinke is pitching at a "Cy Young" level again, and has dominated Detroit bats in his career. Greinke only 4 runs allowed his L4 starts overall, spanning 30 innings. He is Under this total in 6 straight games, and 9 of his L10 games overall. Plus, weather has cooled down considerably and wind will be blowing in from left-field pole, in turn, knocking down anything hit not directly down the right-field foul line. And key, is Detroit will be missing their best hitter Miguel Cabrera, who is the key to their offensive engine. I doubt very much if he plays after leaving last night's games with a biceps injury. Regardless, I'm looking at a low scoring game tonight. Bonderman vs. some very young bats, and Greinke is capable of tossing a shutout. Play the Under.
